Our response to Covid-19

Keeping each other Safe​

We realize that COVID-19 is a concern for many right now.


We hope to keep our patients informed during this time and to do our part. 

The following is how we are making sure we all stay safe!


  • Implementing a reduced schedule to allow increased sanitization and social distancing efforts.

  • Prioritizing patients who have medical conditions affecting their eyes and vision.

  • Vision exams that are more routine in nature will still be available, but we are resuming routine appointments at a slower rate than medical eye exams and follow up.

  • Requiring all staff and patients to wear masks, and providing masks for patients who come without them. 

  • Limiting how many patients are in our office. 

    • Patients with appointments will be asked to stay in their vehicle and call or text our office when they arrive.

    • Whenever possible, we ask that patients come alone to our office.

    • We are not accepting walk-ins of any kind, only scheduled visits.

  • Wiping down all patient care areas after every patient visit in our clinics. We use hospital grade antiviral sprays/solutions on all surfaces and equipment.

  • Clinic staff and doctors are washing their hands upon entering the exam room and before leaving the exam room.

  • Hand washing and hand sanitizing stations are available throughout the clinic.

  • Sanitizing each exam room after every patient.

  • Wiping down all staff work areas and common patient wait areas at least every two hours using antiviral sprays/solutions.

  • Informing any patient calling into the practice to reschedule and stay home if they are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19 or flu-like symptoms (fever/ cough). 

  • Screening patients for COVID-19 symptoms, including temperature checks, as well as exposure to COVID-19 prior to patients entering our building.

  • Likewise, any staff member with flu-like symptoms are directed to stay home. In some cases, staff members can work from home as necessary.

  • Until further notice, we will stop providing coffee service in our wait areas.

  • We have removed all magazines from the waiting areas

  • Whenever possible, we will ask that patients with visitors/ family wait outside or in their cars until the patient visit is completed

  • We have implemented clean pen/used pens system for use in our check-in and check-out areas.

  • We are restricting the interaction of non-patient essential staff within our offices until further notice.
